Grillz for Everyone: Custom Dental Jewelry in Mumbai
Think grillz are only for rap videos? Think again. I’m bringing hip-hop swagger to Zaveri Bazaar, creating custom dental jewelry for everyone from students to my own grandma.
This campaign with my parents, featured in Outlander Magazine, is the perfect example of what Frostbite is about. It’s about family, breaking norms, and showing that style has no age limit.

About Grillz for Everyone
Every set starts with a personal dental impression session at my Mumbai studio to ensure a perfect fit that’s comfortable and safe for your teeth. Once we have the mould, my master karigars in Zaveri Bazaar get to work hand-crafting your piece, whether you want a subtle single cap or a bold, iced-out bridge.
How My Grillz Work
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. Every grillz set is custom-moulded to your specific teeth. During our session in Mumbai, we’ll take a dental impression to guarantee the piece sits flush and stays secure.
The Fusion: Street Meets Tradition
I wanted to take the raw energy of hip-hop culture and ground it in the heritage of Indian jewelry making. We use techniques like Jadau and Meenakari—usually reserved for heavy wedding sets—and apply them to something completely different. It’s about taking those old-school Zaveri Bazaar skills and flipping them into a new-school aesthetic.
Customization Options
- Base Metals: We work with Dental Grade Silver for a clean look, or 10k to 18k solid gold in yellow, rose, or white.
- Gemstones: From natural diamonds (VS/SI clarity) to rubies, emeralds, or crystals, we can set them in a pave style or focus on solid gold detailing.
- Design: Want your initials? A specific symbol? A unique script? If you can dream it, we can design it.
Practical Details
- Safety: These are fashion accessories for intermittent wear. You’ll need to remove them while eating or sleeping to keep them looking fresh and keep your teeth happy.
- Maintenance: Each set comes with an antimicrobial storage case and a polishing cloth to keep the shine going. For our premium gold and diamond pieces, I offer lifetime cleaning support.
