Featured Hand-Drawn Portraits & Art
A look at some of my favorite pieces, from hyper-realistic charcoal sketches to vibrant colored pencil illustrations.
A complete hyper-realistic charcoal and graphite drawing of Shiva and Parvati, capturing a serene and divine moment. This piece shows the incredible detail and emotion I can achieve in my black and white mythological artwork.
My finished colored pencil illustration of Spider-Man. I spent over 12 hours getting the texture of the suit and the dramatic lighting just right to bring this iconic hero to life on paper.
A realistic graphite portrait of Ariana Grande. I focused on capturing her distinct features and the soft texture of her hair, using professional Faber-Castell pencils for a smooth, lifelike finish.
A vibrant colored pencil drawing of Durga Maa. For this piece, I used bold colors and intricate details on the jewelry and crown to create a powerful and traditional portrait.
A custom illustration of the enchanted winged key from Harry Potter. This piece shows how I can take a magical object from fiction and render it realistically with colored pencils, perfect for any fan.
A delicious-looking fruit tart drawn with colored pencils. I focused on making the fruits look juicy and fresh, and the pastry perfectly baked, showing my skill in realistic still life art.
This detailed illustration of a silver sequined corset and outfit took 8 hours to complete. I used a mix of colored pencils and markers to capture the sparkle of the top and the soft folds of the fabric.
A close-up work-in-progress shot of my charcoal drawing of Krishna. This shows the careful layering and blending process I use to build up realistic skin tones and soft facial features.
About Featured
If you are wondering how long these take, it is usually 12 to 16 hours of careful layering and blending. I am super picky about my materials, using professional-grade 200gsm paper so the artwork does not warp, and I seal every finished piece with fixative spray so it stays smudge-free. You will always get work-in-progress updates while I am sketching, so you are never left guessing how your portrait is turning out.
How I work
I am a self-taught artist, which means my style is always evolving. Whether I am working with charcoal for a moody, high-contrast mythological piece or using my Prismacolor set for a bright, pop-culture portrait, the goal is always to make it look real.
The Commission Process
- Getting Started: Tell me what you want. Send over a clear photo or just a rough idea if it is a character or a fantasy object.
- The Sketch: I start with a light outline. I send you a quick pic to make sure the face shape and proportions are right.
- The Build-up: This is where the magic happens. I layer the graphite or color. It is time-consuming, but that is how you get those fine details like jewelry shine or fur texture.
- The Finish: Once I am happy, I coat it in fixative and pack it between rigid cardboard so it reaches you without a single crease.
Important Stuff
Because everything is handmade, I cannot rush. Good art takes time, so please reach out early if you need a portrait for a birthday or an anniversary. I do not do free work, but I promise you will get a piece that I have poured hours into. If you want something, just DM me and we can figure out the medium and size that works for your budget.
