Real Strength and Conditioning for Combat Sports
We don't train for vanity. We train for power, endurance, and resilience. This is where we build the functional strength you need for the ring and for life.
This is what building real strength looks like. The deadlift is a fundamental powerlifting exercise that builds a strong posterior chain, core, and back. We focus on perfect form to maximize power and prevent injury.
Our team is our strength. We are a diverse group of individuals united by the goal of getting better every single day. This is the supportive community you'll be a part of at 1026 MMA.
The snatch is one of the most technical Olympic lifts, demanding a combination of speed, power, coordination, and mobility. Here you can see one of my students executing the lift, a testament to dedicated practice and proper coaching.
A strong back is the foundation of a strong athlete. My programs emphasize developing powerful back muscles and spine health through exercises like pull-ups, which builds the muscle memory needed for long-term physical resilience.
You don't always need a gym to train like a champion. This is a glimpse into an at-home shoulder press workout, proving that with the right guidance, you can build serious strength anywhere.
We take functional fitness to the next level. This outdoor rope climb is a full-body workout that builds incredible grip strength, upper body power, and mental toughness. It’s about pushing your limits and having fun while doing it.
The full Reign MMA team after a tough session. We train hard, but we also know how to come together, support each other, and celebrate our progress as a group.
About this collection
You won’t find sterile machines or air conditioning here. We train in a raw, garage-style setup because that is where the real work happens. Every session involves heavy compound lifts, functional drills, and a team that actually yells for you to push through that last rep—we do not just count sets, we build athletes.
My training philosophy is simple: being weak is dangerous, and strength is your insurance. Whether you are a beginner stepping into a gym for the first time or a seasoned fighter prepping for a bout, my approach stays the same. We focus on functional power that translates to real-world capability.
How We Train
Our programming revolves around three core pillars:
- Compound Power: We stick to the basics that yield results. Deadlifts, snatches, and cleans are staples in our strength and conditioning regimen. These build the posterior chain and explosive power required for MMA and wrestling.
- Combat-Specific Conditioning: We use high-intensity circuits that mimic the fatigue of a fight. This helps you keep your composure and technique when you are physically drained.
- Mobility and Durability: Getting strong is useless if you are injured. We emphasize joint health and specialized warm-ups to ensure you stay on the mats, not on the sidelines.
The 1026 MMA and Reign MMA Environment
Training is better together. Our batches are kept small—10 to 15 people—because I need to watch your form. When you hear "isko isko!" (this one, this one!) in the gym, that is us holding each other accountable. We operate in a naturally ventilated environment where the focus is on grit, not luxury. If you are ready to stop making excuses and start putting in the work, this is the place for you. Oss.
