Powerlifting and Olympic Lifts Coaching
I focus on explosive power and technical precision to make you stronger, whether you are training for the ring or building a solid athletic foundation.
The setup is everything in a deadlift. Here I am demonstrating the correct starting posture, ensuring a flat back and proper engagement of the legs and core before initiating the lift. This focus on technique is key to safe and effective strength training.
The lockout phase of a deadlift, showing full extension and control. This exercise is a cornerstone of my strength and conditioning for MMA fighters, building the raw power needed for grappling and striking.
A look at a small group training session at home, focusing on barbell lifts. Even outside the main gym, we maintain intensity and focus on the fundamentals of strength building.
This sequence shows a complex, highly effective workout for MMA fighters. It begins with the power clean, an explosive movement that builds full-body power from the ground up.
After the clean, the movement transitions into a push jerk and hang squat clean. This combination develops explosive hip drive and shoulder stability, which is crucial for any combat athlete.
About this collection
Before we ever load a heavy barbell, I check your mobility and form. If you are learning a clean or snatch, we start with the stick to fix your shoulder path and hip drive. It is not about how much weight you can move, but moving it with total control to prevent injury.
Building Functional Power
I treat powerlifting and Olympic lifting as the foundation for every other movement. When you train with me, you are not just sitting at a machine doing isolation exercises. You are mastering the deadlift, the snatch, and the push jerk. For my fighters, this is about explosive hip drive. That same power transfers directly to a takedown or a strike in the ring.
My Approach to Safety and Form
I run small group cohorts of 10 to 15 members, which allows me to provide hands-on guidance during every set. If you are training with me, expect frame by frame feedback. I correct your spinal alignment and grip before we add significant weight. We train on 25mm to 30mm EVA puzzle mats that are optimized for barefoot training, which gives you the stability you need for heavy compound lifts.
Where We Train
I conduct these sessions across my facilities, including 1026 MMA Academy in Amrutahalli and Reign MMA at HBR Layout. Whether you join my group strength and conditioning batches or opt for personal performance coaching, the atmosphere remains high energy and focused.
Is This For You?
I do not care about your current PR. I care about your progress. Whether you are a total beginner who needs to learn how to deadlift safely or an athlete looking to break through a plateau with Olympic lifts, you fit in. We focus on progressive overload and tracking your increments, so you see real, measurable strength gains.
