Group Yoga and Wushu Classes with a National Champion
Fitness is a journey of the self, through the self. My group classes at the Shaolin Wushu Cultural Center are not about comfort. I focus on building discipline, core strength, and mental grit through a blend of traditional yoga and martial arts conditioning.
Leading a large group of students through Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation). These outdoor sessions are designed to connect with nature and build core strength and focus in a disciplined group setting.
Discipline starts young. Here, I'm guiding my junior students through a mobility challenge, building their functional strength, coordination, and focus in a fun but structured class.
A proud moment from our black belt ceremony. My students demonstrate advanced flexibility and control with poses like Chakrasana (Wheel Pose), showcasing the results of their dedicated training.
About Group Classes & Student Progress
I do not believe in shortcuts, and I do not have mirrors in my training hall. My sessions are about feeling the movement, not just watching it. We train on high density EVA mats to protect your joints, mixing traditional Patanjali yoga with mobility drills to get your body truly functional. Whether you are in my weekday intensity batches or the weekend restoration class, expect to work.
My Approach to Group Training
I view every class as a training ground for the mind and the body. We do not do gimmicks or trend-chasing. At my Shaolin Wushu Cultural Center in JP Nagar, we focus on the fundamentals: alignment, breath, and consistency. When you join a group, you feed off the energy of others, but I maintain small, semi-private cohorts (10 to 18 students) to ensure I can physically correct your form and push your limits individually.
What We Cover
- Physical Foundation: We use a hybrid of Patanjali Yoga and biomechanics to build strength. You will see results in your posture, mobility, and core stability because we emphasize correct technique over repetition count.
- Breath and Mind: No session is complete without Pranayama. I teach you to use your breath to control your energy levels and find focus. It is the bridge between the physical exertion of Wushu and the stillness of yoga.
- Discipline for All Ages: My junior program uses a martial arts ethos to teach kids focus, respect, and physical growth. For adults, we tackle everything from desk-job fatigue to advanced flexibility progressions.
Why Train With Me
I teach what I have lived. My background in Wushu means I approach yoga with the precision of a fighter. My goal is to see you master poses that once felt impossible, from basic Surya Namaskar to complex backbends and inversions. If you are looking for a place to hide and stretch, this is not it. If you are looking for a place to build real mental grit and physical capability, join my batch.
