About Our Vibrant Ambiance
Whether you prefer the privacy of our white-curtained cabanas or the open-air garden terrace, I ensure the setting is always comfortable. We use dedicated heaters and mist fans to manage Delhi’s seasonal temperature shifts, so your experience remains enjoyable regardless of the weather outside.
When I look at the space here at The Claridges, I don't just see a dining area. I see the places where my guests will create stories. My goal was to build an environment that mirrors the atmosphere of Spain, where meals are meant to last for hours.
Finding Your Perfect Space
- Private Romantic Cabanas: These are tucked away for when you need silence and connection. Each is draped in white curtains and set with rose petals and pillar candles. It is the closest I can get you to a quiet evening in Andalusia.
- The Garden Terrace: This is for those who love the rhythm of the city but want to escape it. With ancient trees and pebble flooring, it feels like an oasis. This is where we often have live flamenco guitar, filling the air with authentic energy.
- The Indoor Glass Room: For corporate dinners or large family celebrations, this room offers a more formal, air-conditioned setting with chandelier lighting and a long, family-style table setup.
Why the Setting Matters
I believe the environment dictates the quality of the conversation. If the lighting is too harsh or the space too cramped, the food loses its magic. I’ve balanced the lighting throughout the restaurant to be soft and inviting, relying heavily on candlelight. It allows you to focus on the person across from you and the flavours on the plate. When you visit, take a moment to notice the bridge over our water feature; it is my favorite spot to stand and listen to the hum of the evening.
