My students' achievements are the heart of what I do. From securing 'A' grades in state board exams to winning school drawing competitions, seeing their hard work pay off is my greatest reward.

About Student Achievements: Exam Grades & Competition Wins

Getting an 'A' grade in the Elementary or Intermediate exam is not about natural talent alone. It is about understanding the exam structure and managing time effectively. During my coaching, I set timers for every object drawing and composition so students learn how to finish their work under pressure. When they walk into the exam hall, they are not nervous because they have practiced this exact format dozens of times at my studio.

My coaching is designed to demystify the Maharashtra State Board Art Exams and school drawing competitions. Students often struggle because they lack a strategy for the time-bound nature of these assessments, not because they cannot draw.

Preparing for Art Exams

For the Elementary and Intermediate Grade Art Exams, we focus on the four key pillars: Object Drawing, Memory Drawing, 2D Design, and Plane Geometry.

  • Object Drawing: I teach students how to render still-life models, focusing on light, shadow, and proportion.
  • Timed Practice: We run sessions with strict time limits that mirror the actual exam environment, ensuring students are comfortable finishing their work without panic.
  • Feedback: I provide physical corrections on their paper during class, which is far more effective than just pointing out mistakes.

Winning Drawing Competitions

School competitions require a different approach. Judges look for creative ideation and effective use of the page.

  • Ideation: We brainstorm concepts that stand out, moving away from generic ideas to more unique compositions.
  • Technique: Students learn to use the full page effectively. Whether using oil pastels or watercolors, we practice techniques like quick background washes and layering to add depth.

Whether you are looking for exam prep or want to help your child gain confidence for school contests, my classes in Marol provide a focused, distraction-free environment. My goal is to equip students with the skills and speed they need to succeed while keeping the joy of art alive.
