Annual Art Exhibition & Student Showcase
Seeing a child stand proudly next to their artwork is the highlight of my year. Our annual exhibition in Marol is where we celebrate every brushstroke and creative milestone our students have achieved.
This is our wonderful group of students at the annual art exhibition. Displaying their work gives them a huge boost of confidence and a sense of accomplishment.
A short tour of our student's art exhibition. We display a wide variety of work, from still life paintings to 2D designs, showing the diverse skills they learn throughout the year.
The official invitation for our Annual Prize Distribution and Student's Exhibition. We often invite acclaimed artists to demonstrate techniques and inspire the children.
A special moment from our exhibition, where I presented Saanvi Rane with her 'A' grade certificate in front of her peers and parents.
Saanvi posing with her collection of artworks displayed at the exhibition. It's important for students to see their art professionally presented.
About Annual Art Exhibition & Celebration
This isn't just a wall of drawings. For my students, this exhibition is often the first time they see their creative effort validated by an audience beyond their parents. It is a space where a quiet student who struggles in school suddenly finds their voice through a canvas. When you walk through our Marol studio during the show, you won't just see finished pieces; you will see the messy, beautiful process that led them there.
This exhibition is the heart of what I do at Saptarang Art Academy. Every year, I transform our studio in Marol into a gallery space to hold a mirror to the progress my students make. Whether they are in Jr. KG or 11th standard, every child gets a spot on the wall.
Why do I do this? Because drawing at home is one thing, but presenting that work publicly is another. It builds confidence. I often see parents who are surprised by the complexity of a 10-year-old’s oil pastel composition or the precision in a teenager’s pencil portrait. It breaks the notion that art is just a hobby; here, it is a skill we treat with respect.
We make it a point to invite practicing artists to hand out awards. It helps the kids connect with the real art world in Mumbai beyond the exam syllabus. They get to talk to people who have built careers out of creativity. We display everything from rigorous object drawing for State Board exams to the free-flowing creative work we do in our foundation batches. It is a loud, chaotic, and happy celebration of the year’s hard work. If you are looking for a place where your child’s creativity is taken seriously, this is where we start.
Saptarang Art Academy
I started Saptarang Art Academy back in 2005 because I believe art should be a joy. My focus is entirely on your child, helping them find their creative voice through everything from still life sketches to competition entries.
