Guided Acroyoga & Community Practice
Acroyoga is better when we learn together. Join my small group sessions in Gurugram where we build strength, trust, and community on the mat.
This is what a typical group practice looks like. We start together, learn together, and celebrate each other's progress. Here, I am spotting two students as they create a beautiful double backbend, ensuring their safety and proper form.
About Community & Guided Practice
In these group sessions, the focus is on safety through active, hands-on spotting. Whether you are learning to base or fly, I stay right there to guide your form and ensure you feel secure. You do not need to be super bendy or strong to start here; you just need to bring your willingness to fall and the curiosity to get back up.
Building Trust in a Group Setting
Acroyoga isn't just about the shapes we make in the air; it's about the communication we build on the ground. When you join one of my cohorts, you aren't just following a routine. You are learning to trust the person holding your weight, and more importantly, learning to trust your own body's capability.
What to Expect
We train in a functional, semi-open warehouse environment in Sector 59. It is high-energy, non-climate controlled, and real. My sessions follow a specific structure to keep everyone engaged and safe:
- Warm-up: 15 minutes of wrist mobility and solo drills to prep your joints.
- Role Breakdown: We rotate through Base, Flyer, and Spotter duties so you understand every part of the practice.
- Technique: We move from basic L-basing mechanics to static poses like Bird or Throne.
- Recovery: We finish with 15 minutes of lunar therapeutics and gentle stretching to wind down.
Why Practice in a Group?
Learning Acroyoga solo is nearly impossible, and doing it with just one partner can be limiting. In a group of 6 to 12 people, you get to rotate partners, which teaches you how to adapt to different heights, strengths, and body types. It takes the pressure off 'getting it right' immediately. Plus, when the whole room is laughing at a wobble, the fear of failing disappears. Come as you are, 'blessed mess' and all. Let's practice.
