About Wedding Ceremonies: Vows, Rituals & Forever Moments
Capturing a wedding ceremony isn't about setting up shots; it’s about anticipating the rhythm of the rituals. I prefer to stay in the background with long lenses, allowing the natural flow of your phera or vow exchange to unfold without interruption, so the final images reflect the ceremony as it truly happened, not a staged version of it.
The ceremony is the anchor of your wedding day. While the Sangeet is about energy, the wedding ritual is where the real story lives—the anticipation of the entry, the solemnity of the vows, and the unspoken promises exchanged between two families.
Why Our Approach Works
We believe in being invisible observers during the sacred parts of your day. Whether it's a Maharashtrian antarpat, a Punjabi anand karaj, or a South Indian beach ceremony, we research the significance of your rituals beforehand. This helps us know exactly when to look for the bride’s emotional reaction or the groom’s supportive gaze. We use a split-team approach during these hours: one photographer remains with the bride and groom for the intimate moments, while another documents the larger family interactions and guest reactions, ensuring nothing is missed.
Handling The Light and Logistics
Ceremonies often shift from bright daylight to evening dimness or harsh indoor halogen lighting. We rely on professional off-camera flash setups that are discreet, allowing us to maintain the moody, cinematic lighting that makes your wedding photos feel like frames from a film rather than flat snapshots.
Your Deliverables
We focus on capturing 500 to 1,200+ images depending on your package, with heavy emphasis on colour grading that highlights the vibrancy of your traditional attire and the warmth of the mandap lighting. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive gallery where you can relive the actual flow of your day, from the nervousness of the arrival to the final celebration.
Band Baaja Capture
We started Band Baaja Capture in 2017 because we saw how quickly the magic of a ceremony passes. We’re not the type to boss you around or ask for fake smiles; we’re the ones watching for the groom’s teary eye or the bride’s hand-hold during the pheras, capturing the story while you live it.
