About this collection
When I choreograph for big events or fashion shows, it is not just about the dance. It is about how that movement lives on your specific stage. I spend time mapping out your spatial geometry, whether it is a wide proscenium stage or a tricky runway, to make sure every formation looks intentional and impactful from every angle of the room.
My Approach to Event Choreography
I treat every performance as a collaboration. When you bring me on board for an event, we start by looking at the venue, the lighting, and the story you want to tell. My background as a principal dancer means I understand how to fill a stage without crowding it, and how to use formations to build tension or release it.
Where I Focus
- Fashion & Corporate Shows: I work with brands like Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and L'Oreal to create movement direction that highlights the clothes or the brand message. It is about precision, posture, and rhythm.
- Weddings & Sangeets: For private events, I focus on the 'why' of the dance. I help you pick songs that actually mean something to you and design routines that fit your skill level, so you enjoy performing them rather than just surviving them.
- Sufi & Classical Performances: These are the moments I treasure most. I love improvising with live musicians to create that raw connection with the audience. If you want a 15-minute Kathak fusion set that blends traditional footwork with modern tracks, I bring the costumes, the hair, the makeup, and the energy.
The Logistics
I handle the technical side so you do not have to. This includes spatial blocking, prop integration, and cleaning rehearsals for troupes. If you are planning something complex, I am available to supervise during tech runs to ensure lighting cues and transitions are smooth. I split my time between Mumbai and London, but I travel wherever your event takes me.
