About Dance Classes & Workshops
Why I Dance
For me, dance is about freedom. I call my retreats 'Rangwang' because I want everyone to feel that sense of letting go. It’s not just about learning steps - it’s about living in the moment, telling your story, and finding a space where you can just be yourself. My classes are like a big family get-together, whether we’re in Mumbai or London. Sometimes it gets a bit messy, sometimes it’s pure joy, but it’s always real.
What I Offer
- Pop-up choreography classes: 2-hour sessions where we dive into one routine. Think Bollywood choreography workshop, semi-classical, or contemporary fusion dance class. It’s sweaty, fun, and you’ll leave with a new routine under your belt.
- Intensives & showcases: Multi-day deep dives for those who want to really get into technique and performance. We end with a small studio showcase - nothing fancy, just a chance to perform what you’ve learned.
- Rangwang retreats: My favourite. Multi-day Kathak dance retreat in places like Ladakh or Goa. We do daily Kathak, abhinaya (expression) workshops, morning yoga, and even local food and art experiences. It’s a full-on journey, not just a dance camp.
My Dance Styles
I’m rooted in Kathak, but I love mixing it up with Bollywood, semi-classical, and contemporary flow. Sometimes we do partner work, sometimes solo - always with a focus on storytelling.
Where I Teach
You’ll find me teaching in Mumbai and London, working with some amazing studios. The vibe is always welcoming, and everyone’s invited, no matter your level.

My Story
I’m a Kathak dancer who’s always got one foot in Mumbai, one in London, and my head somewhere in the clouds. There was a time I zipped through 5 cities in 3 countries in a month, chasing stages and stories. But then Mumbai’s chaos - autos, sunsets, post-rehearsal chai - started feeling like home. Nothing beats that 'ghar wali Diwali' or a fat nap after a fat meal. Dance is connection for me, more than any big stage.
