About Advanced Techniques & Demonstrations
When we practice advanced moves like flying kicks or board breaking, safety is my absolute priority. You aren't training on hard ground; we use 25mm high-density EVA puzzle mats to absorb impact, so you can push your limits and practice these explosive techniques without the constant fear of injury.
Learning advanced Taekwondo techniques is about more than just showing off; it is the physical manifestation of months of discipline and practice. In our Okhla academy, we don't jump straight into flips or board breaking. Every student begins with conditioning, ensuring the core muscles and flexibility are ready for the stress of high-impact movements.
The Path to Mastery
- Aerial Kicks: We start with proper technique on targets and paddle work before moving to full extension.
- Board Breaking (Kyukpa): This requires immense mental focus. We teach you how to channel your energy and strike with precision, not just force.
- Sparring & Agility: For those moving toward competition, we integrate Kyorugi sparring with full protective gear (Hogu) to mimic tournament intensity safely.
I treat every demonstration—whether it is a small class display or a public event—as a chance for students to showcase their 'champs' spirit. As a National Poomsae Judge, I bring technical rigor to every session, ensuring that while the kicks look spectacular, the form remains perfect. Whether you are aiming for a black belt or just want to see how far your body can go, we provide the platform, the coaching, and the safety protocols to get you there safely.
