Safe Sparring & Fight Practice in Okhla
Sparring is where my students learn to test their skills in real-time. My goal is to build confidence through safe, controlled practice right here in Okhla.
As a coach, I ensure my students are properly protected before they begin sparring, adjusting a student's headgear.
Our youngest champions, Hania and Shazima, engage in a friendly and safe sparring match, showing great spirit and technique.
Two young competitors face off during the 1st Strike Inter-Club Tournament, demonstrating their kicking skills in a controlled match.
Students get ready to compete at the 2nd Delhi Open Taekwondo Championship, showing focus and readiness.
About this collection
Before any student steps onto the mat for a spar, they are geared up with full protective equipment—head guards, chest protectors (Hogu), and shin guards. I personally oversee every match to ensure it stays controlled, focusing on technical precision rather than aggression. You are here to learn and improve, not to get hurt.
Sparring is the ultimate test of your Taekwondo training. It is the moment where the forms, stances, and kicks you have practiced in the air become dynamic and responsive. My philosophy as a coach is simple: Aisa class ho k har student k face pe smile ho. That applies even when you are facing an opponent. We do not spar to dominate; we spar to refine.
Our Safety Standards
We strictly adhere to full-contact safety protocols. Whether it is our 3-day basic sessions or the Pro 6-Day Competition training, safety comes first. We use 25mm EVA puzzle mats for impact absorption and high-quality protective gear. For students interested in competitive Kyorugi (sparring), we introduce advanced drills, flying kicks, and match simulation. This prepares you for district and state-level championships without compromising your well-being.
The Coach's Role
In the ring, I act as a shield for my players. I observe every movement to ensure technique is correct and no one is taking unnecessary risks. This creates an environment where you feel secure enough to try new combinations and push your limits. Whether you are a beginner looking to build confidence or an athlete prepping for the Delhi Open, we build your skill step by step. Alhamdulillah, seeing my students leave the mat with a smile and a new lesson learned is what motivates me every day.
