The Journey of Progress: Belt Promotion Ceremonies

We follow a systematic belt promotion process that focuses on actual mastery, not just attendance. Before grading, every student must demonstrate proficiency in Poomsae forms, controlled sparring techniques, and physical conditioning during a formal evaluation conducted by our Kukkiwon-certified instructors.

How Our Belt System Works

Progression is the heart of martial arts. At Strike International Taekwondo Academy in Okhla, we don't believe in rushed advancements. Our belt system is structured to ensure that when a student earns their next color, they have truly earned the skills that come with it.

The Grading Process

Students are evaluated on three main pillars:

• Technique: Precision in kicks, blocks, and stances.
• Forms (Poomsae): Memorization and fluidity of movement.
• Sparring: Applying skills in a controlled, safe environment.

We hold regular promotion tests throughout the year. These aren't just exams; they are a celebration of the effort our students put into their training. It is where they show their parents and peers what they have achieved.

For many of our students, receiving a certificate and a new belt in front of the community is a major confidence booster. It validates the hard work they put in during our 3-day or 6-day training programs.
