As a proud Kannadiga, I find immense joy in sketching the personalities who shaped our culture and cinema. Here is my tribute to the legends who define our heritage.

My detailed pencil and charcoal portrait of 'Varakavi' Da. Ra. Bendre. It is an honor to draw the legends of Kannada literature and capture their wisdom in my art.

A tribute to the great Rashtrakavi Kuvempu. His words have inspired generations, and I tried to capture his thoughtful expression in this charcoal sketch.

My portrait of 'Sahasa Simha' Dr. Vishnuvardhan. As a fan and an artist, drawing Kannada cinema icons like him is a way for me to celebrate their legacy.

A pencil sketch of a scene from 'Nanna Preethiya Ramu', featuring Challenging Star Darshan. This piece shows how I can recreate moments from films, perfect for any fan.

This is my sketch of the wonderful actress Aparna. Her voice and talent are unforgettable, and I wanted to capture her joyful spirit in this portrait.

About Tributes to Kannada Legends

I don't just sketch these icons for practice. Whether it is Kuvempu’s depth or Dr. Vishnuvardhan’s presence, I focus heavily on the eyes. It is challenging because when you are sketching someone famous, there is zero margin for error, as everyone knows exactly how they should look.
