I believe every face tells a story. Here are my hand-drawn tributes to the public figures and icons who left a mark on our lives through their work and character.

A tribute caricature of CDS General Bipin Rawat, our brave hero. This pen and ink drawing was my way of paying homage to his service to the nation.

My hand-drawn caricature paying tribute to the legendary Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar. I focused on capturing his thoughtful expression with detailed line work.

A tribute to the veteran Bollywood comedian Jagdeep, famously known as Soorma Bhopali. This caricature aims to capture his unique and expressive comedic style.

This black and white caricature is my tribute to the late veteran actor Rishi Kapoor. I used strong, bold lines to capture his distinct and familiar facial features.

My shradhanjali to the versatile actor and writer Kader Khan. This caricature remembers him as the accomplished comedian and film personality he was.

A hand-drawn caricature of industrialist Ratan Tata. This was created as a tribute to his immense contributions and leadership.

A tribute portrait of the veteran Supreme Court lawyer and former Law Minister, Ram Jethmalani. The shading and line work aim to reflect his sharp and formidable personality.

About this collection

Capturing a public figure is not just about the facial features. It is about finding that one signature expression or gesture that everyone recognizes. My sketches are all hand-drawn with pen and ink—no digital filters. If you want a tribute piece or a caricature that feels human and honest, we can discuss the reference photos and the specific vibe or life moment you want to highlight.

More Than Just a Sketch

When I draw a tribute, I am not just sketching a face; I am trying to capture a legacy. Whether it is a Bollywood legend or a leader who shaped our policy, my goal is to keep the art honest.

My style is old-school. I prefer the grit of pen and ink because it brings a texture that digital tools often miss. I focus on:

  • Strong Lines: I use bold ink hatching to define character and age.
  • Expression-First: I spend time looking at videos and photos to pick up on the person’s mannerisms, not just their appearance.
  • Shraddhanjali (Tributes): These pieces are made with respect. I avoid exaggeration that borders on mockery, keeping the tone dignified yet expressive.

How We Can Collaborate

If you have a public figure you admire or a loved one you want to memorialize in this style, you can commission a custom tribute.

  1. Reference Photos: Send me 2-3 clear photos. The angle matters, but the expression matters more.
  2. The Vibe: Tell me what you want to emphasize. Do you want a serious, respectful portrait, or one that captures their lighter, comedic side?
  3. The Format: I can provide these as high-resolution digital scans for your personal collection, or as physical framed artwork if you want something ready to hang.

Everything is hand-drawn. If you are looking for that classic cartooning feel, let us chat.

I came from a small village with nothing but a sketchpad, and cartooning became my language. When I create a tribute, I focus on the lines that define a person's life and legacy. It is just me, my pens, and your memories.
