Fun Agility Training Programs & Details
Agility isn't about perfect performance. It’s about burning energy, building confidence, and having a blast with your dog. I keep training playful and safe at The Run.
I conduct 1-on-1 Fun Agility sessions with my partner Sabine. This ensures your dog gets personalized attention in a secure 40x80 feet lawn area at The Run in Yelahanka.
We offer private, one-on-one sessions to give you and your dog our full attention. This allows us to tailor the training specifically to your dog's personality and pace.
Safety first. Agility is a weight-bearing activity, so dogs must be at least 12 months old for the full course. For puppies, we offer a special Agility Foundation training that avoids jumps to protect their growing joints.
I always recommend a quick vet check before starting any new physical activity. This ensures your dog is fit for agility and we can train with complete confidence.
The benefits go far beyond just exercise. Agility training is a powerful tool for building your dog's confidence, improving their motor skills, and strengthening the bond you share.
This is a fantastic activity for both physical and mental stimulation. It helps burn calories, improves coordination, and is a great way to have fun with your dog.
About Program Details & FAQs
Because I run these sessions 1-on-1 with my partner Sabine, your dog gets my full attention. We don't do crowded group runs. Whether your pup is 10 weeks old or your adult dog is ready for the full course, we tweak every piece of equipment, from tunnel lengths to jump heights, to match their current confidence level.
Why Agility?
It’s not just about running through tunnels or hopping over bars. Agility is one of the fastest ways to build trust. When your dog figures out how to navigate a seesaw or weave through poles with your guidance, their confidence skyrockets. It helps burn off that extra energy that usually leads to chewing on your favourite shoes.
Adult Dogs (12+ Months)
For the grown-ups, we hit the full course at 'The Run' in Yelahanka. We use 40ft by 80ft fenced lawns with natural grass that’s easy on the paws. We have the full setup: A-frames, dog walks, and adjustable jumps. We work on impulse control and coordination, ensuring your dog stays engaged and happy throughout the 45-60 minute session.
Puppy Foundation (10 Weeks - 1 Year)
Puppyhood is for building the foundation, not for impact. We keep it strictly low-impact. No jumps, no pressure. Instead, we focus on balance discs, ground-level hoops, and short tunnels. It’s all about teaching them body awareness and getting them comfortable with new textures and sounds.
What You Need To Know
- Vet Check: Always get a green light from your vet first. Agility is weight-bearing, and safety is the only shortcut I don't take.
- Positive Only: We use treats and toys. If your dog isn't having fun, we pause. It’s that simple.
- The Vibe: My sessions are meant to be a break from the routine. Whether you are in North Bangalore or further out, come to Yelahanka, grab a coffee, and let your dog just be a dog.
