About Canine Swimming & Fitness
Why I Love Getting Dogs in the Water
I’ve always felt a happy dog is one that gets to just be itself. There’s nothing like watching a dog splash around, having fun, burning energy, and coming out more confident. For me, swimming is as much about fun as it is about fitness - it helps with things like weight loss and joint pain, but it also lets your doggo be a total goof.
What Makes My Pool Different
- Only pool in Bangalore with an Ozone system. Bilkul (completely) chlorine-free, so there’s no itchy skin, no red eyes, no tummy problems from gulping pool water.
- Covered pool - rain or shine, water’s just right.
- Three pool depths: 1 ft for newbies, 2.5 ft for small breeds or pups, and 4 ft for bigger dogs who want to actually swim.
- Safety’s a big deal for me. Every session is watched, and I’m or my trainers are always in the water with your dog.
Who Benefits Most
- High-energy pups - all those zoomies get channelled into proper masti (fun).
- Nervous first-timers - chinta mat karo (don’t stress), we start slow and gentle.
- Dogs with joint pain or hip issues - swimming is real low-impact, so it’s easy on their bodies.
- Overweight dogs - it’s a legit cardio workout, but kinder on their joints.
What Happens in a Session
First swim? We always start shallow, never rush. I guide them the whole way, letting them take their time. After swimming, we’ve got grooming and a blow-dry station, so no wet-dog taxi rides home.
Seeing a dog find joy and confidence in water - honestly, it’s the best part of my week.

Gourav Vartalur
My Story
Hey, Gourav here from SAGA. All this started with Bruce, my own doggo - the real boss of the house. He’s why I get up every day and do this. We’ve been through it all, from Delhi to Bangalore by train (chips to mile nahi, but mom’s gajar ka halwa always wins). With Bruce, I learned every dog’s different, no matter the age. SAGA is just me trying to help others find that same bond I have with him, using only positive vibes.
My Work
All Dog Training Services - Puppy training, group classes, fun agility sessions, swimming, leash walking, toilet training, and reactive dog confidence building.
Only Positive Reinforcement - No scolding, no 'bad dog' talk. We build trust and make training a team effort with you and your dog.
Step-by-Step Approach - Start inside, move outside slowly. We set up your dog for success, not stress.
Dog Socialization Training - It’s not about meeting every dog. We teach calmness and neutrality around others.
Mental Stimulation Activities - Training isn’t just basics. We use puzzles, agility, and walks to boost confidence and keep minds sharp.
