About Agility and Skill Training
We don't believe in shouting commands or repetitive drills that bore your dog. Our training focuses on play-based learning using hurdles, tunnels, and ramps to channel their natural energy into obedience. Whether your pup needs to master 'stay' or just burn off extra zoomies, we keep it engaging so they actually look forward to every session.
Play-Based Learning
At Petboro, we know that dogs learn best when they are having fun. We swap rigid classroom drills for an active, outdoor experience in our Whitefield facility. By turning obedience into a game, we help your dog stay focused, motivated, and happy.
Our Agility Setup
Our dedicated outdoor course is designed to keep your dog mentally and physically stimulated. We use a variety of equipment including:
- A-frame ramps: To build rear-end awareness and confidence.
- Blue barrel tunnels: To help pups overcome fears and improve navigation skills.
- Adjustable hurdles and hoops: Scaled to your dog's size for safe jumping exercises.
Obedience and Socialization
Beyond agility, we offer a 12-session program covering core commands like Sit, Down, Stay, and Recall. Training here happens amidst the sights, sounds, and scents of our park. This environment helps your dog learn to listen to you even when there are distractions around. We include dedicated time at the end of the course to teach you, the pet parent, how to maintain these commands at home.
