Practical, outdoor obedience training to help your dog stay calm and focused around real-world distractions.

Announcing my new Group Obedience classes in Yelahanka. These sessions are designed to be fun and educational, helping you understand how your dog learns while practicing basic commands in a real-world setting. Nervous or reactive dogs are welcome.

This breaks down the Who, What, and Why of my group classes. They are for any dog parent wanting to practice obedience and improve their handling skills in a structured, supportive group environment.

Here are the key details for joining a group class. We welcome dogs over 4 months old who have their basic shots. It's a great setting for nervous dogs to build confidence, but for safety, we cannot accept dogs with a bite history.

Good news for apartment and gated communities. If you can gather a minimum of 5 participants and have a suitable space, I can bring my Group Obedience classes directly to you.

My group sessions are structured to mimic real-life situations. This helps you and your dog practice skills that you will actually use on your daily walks and outings.

One of the biggest benefits of group training is learning to work around distractions. Your dog will practice focusing on you even with other dogs, people, and new environmental sights and sounds.

Socialization is about teaching neutrality. In my classes, dogs learn to be calm and relaxed around other dogs, which is a crucial skill for a well-adjusted pet.

About this collection

In these group sessions, we move beyond basic commands to master the art of focus. The real challenge for most dogs isn't learning 'sit' in a quiet living room; it's ignoring other dogs, people, and scents at the park. Here, we help you and your dog find that steady connection amid the chaos of the real world.

Why Join Our Group Classes?

Training in a vacuum is easy. Training in the real world is where the magic happens. My group obedience classes at The Run in Yelahanka are designed to replicate the distractions you face on your daily walks.

The SAGA Approach

  • Real-World Distractions: We practice in an outdoor setting so your dog learns to be neutral and calm around other dogs, people, and environmental noise.
  • Small Batches: To ensure every pup gets attention, we cap sessions at 10 dogs. We maintain a 1:5 trainer-to-puppy ratio with two certified trainers present, ensuring safety and focused guidance.
  • Neutrality Over Play: This is not a free-for-all dog park session. We teach your dog to be neutral and relaxed near other dogs, which is a vital skill for a happy, well-adjusted pet.

Who This Is For

These sessions are perfect if you want to proof your commands like 'sit', 'stay', and 'recall' when it actually matters. Whether your dog is a bit nervous or just needs to learn how to ignore other pets, we work at their pace. We do not accept dogs with a history of biting for the safety of the group.

If you want to build a reliable bond where your dog looks to you for guidance, even when the world gets busy, these classes are the place to start.

I'm Gourav, and I started this journey because of my dog, Bruce. I believe training should be a fun bonding experience, not a chore, which is why I focus entirely on positive reinforcement and helping your dog feel confident, never scared.
