About In the Arena: Net Sessions & Practice Matches
It is one thing to hit a ball in the nets, but completely different when you are under the pressure of a match. We do not just watch you play; we break down your decision-making in real-time during our practice games against local clubs like GNCC. You will learn to adjust your shots and bowling lengths based on live field placements, not just muscle memory.
From Nets to the Middle
Net sessions at SKCA are designed to build your 'ABC of Cricket'. We utilize structured drills for batting, bowling, and fielding, but that is only half the picture. The real test is applying those techniques when the game is on the line.
Realistic Match Simulation
We move our trainees from the nets to the middle as quickly as possible. We organize regular competitive practice matches against external clubs such as GNCC and UUC. This gives our players the exposure to play against varied bowling attacks and different playing conditions. Within the academy, we run internal league teams—Tigers, Panthers, Leopards, and Lions—to foster healthy competition. It forces you to think about captaincy, field placements, and tactical game sense under pressure.
Training Facilities
Training happens at the PCL Sports Complex in Sector 143, Noida. We have dedicated turf wickets for authentic bounce and movement, alongside cement wickets for pace variation. We also have floodlight facilities, so training doesn't stop when the sun goes down. Whether you are a junior trainee just learning the grip or a senior player preparing for district or state selections, our match simulations are tailored to your level of play.
Mentorship
My team and I are on the ground daily. We believe that match practice is the best time for us to identify gaps in your game. We track your progress, suggest technical adjustments, and help you build the mental toughness required to perform when it matters most.
