Batting Coaching: From Basics to Power Hitting
I teach cricket from the ground up, starting with your grip and stance, building towards consistent power. Whether you are a beginner or playing league cricket, we work on the fundamentals that actually stick.

About Batting: From Basics to Power Hitting
In the nets, I do not care about how hard you hit. I care about your head position. If your head is not right, your shot will not be right. We drill the basics here until your muscle memory takes over. You might get frustrated when I ask you to repeat the same drive for the tenth time, but that is how you stop making the same mistakes in a match.
Technique is non-negotiable. If you want to move from basic stance to power hitting, you have to earn it through repetition. At H.R. Cricket Academy, my batting sessions are designed to break down every movement. We start with the grip, move to the head position, and ensure your balance is perfect before we even think about big shots.
My Approach to Batting
We use a mix of traditional drills and modern tech to correct your game. Whether you are struggling to time the ball or need to improve your defense, we identify the gap in your technique. I use throwdowns and high-volume feed drills to force your body to adapt. When I use the Roboarm, the goal is to get you used to pace without fear, so you can make decisions in a split second.
Beyond the Nets
Nets are safe, but a match is where you get tested. That is why I include match simulation practice. We set targets, create pressure situations, and force you to think like a batsman, not just a hitter. You will learn to build an innings, rotate the strike, and pick the right ball to hit. If you train at our Nangli Puna or Surakhpur facilities, you will see that I push for intensity. You are here to become a cricketer, not to pass time. If you are ready for the grind, we will get your game ready for the state level.

I am Hemant Rattan. I do not believe in shortcuts, so do not come here expecting easy fixes. I break down your batting from the basics, correcting your grip and stance until they become second nature. You bring the discipline, and I will handle the technique.
