Fueling the Machine: Honest Nutrition for Real Athletes
Quit chasing fad diets and expensive supplement scams. Learn to eat for your goals, not for Instagram trends. Real food, zero BS.
There's a big debate about protein powder. Yaar, everything comes in a box these days. If a protein shake helps someone stay disciplined and healthy, what's the problem? Let people do what works for them.
Our cultural food is carb-rich, but that doesn't mean you should only eat protein. A balanced diet with all three macros, carbs, protein, and fat, is essential for a healthy body, whether you're an athlete or not.
A coach said non-veg is cheaper for fast bowlers. First, you're not a dietitian. Second, it's about getting complete nutrition, and good quality non-veg is just as expensive as veg. Fast bowlers are born from genetics, not from eating meat.
Can you survive without carbs? Yes. Should you live without carbs? No. Survival is not living. Unless you have a specific athletic target, you need a balanced meal with carbs, proteins, and fats to keep your body and mind healthy.
People justify cheat meals. Yaar, the name itself is "cheat." Poison is poison, whether it's a little or a lot. You can choose to eat it, but don't let influencers tell you it's harmless.
For the general population, training with 3 sets of 10-12 reps is one of the factors that can help boost your testosterone levels. For athletes, the rep and set range is very different and depends on their specific goals.
Fat loss drinks like jeera water or coffee with ghee. Do they work? Maybe. Sometimes it's just a belief system or a placebo effect. If it helps someone build a healthy momentum for their day, then let them be. Not everything needs a scientific study.
About this collection
Don't waste 15,000 rupees on supplements if your daily diet is broken. Whether you are a student, a working professional, or an athlete at my facility in GTB Nagar, eating right starts with balancing your carbs, fats, and proteins on your plate. Stop searching for magic pills and start fixing the basics of what you put in your body every day.
Nutrition is simple, but the industry makes it complex to sell you things you do not need. Here is the reality check:
The Protein Obsession
Everyone talks about protein powder like it is the holy grail. While it is convenient, it is not a replacement for a balanced diet. If you are ignoring your intake of whole foods, vegetables, and complex carbohydrates just to hit a number with a shake, you are getting it wrong. My approach is to ensure your macro-nutrients are balanced to support your training intensity.
Stop Justifying 'Cheat' Meals
'Cheat' meals are poison, whether it is a little or a lot. Influencers will tell you it does not matter, but if you want to perform like an athlete, you cannot treat your body like a dustbin. Poison is poison. You make the choice, but do not lie to yourself about the consequences.
The Supplement Scam
If a coach tells you to spend half your salary on five different supplements to increase your bowling pace, run away. We focus on real food first. Supplements like creatine are well-researched and safe, but they are 'add-ons,' not the foundation. I help you figure out what you actually need based on your goals, not based on what the local gym store wants to push.
Fueling for Performance
Whether you are training for cricket or just want to be a powerful human, your pre-workout meal needs to be timed right. We look at glycemic index and timing, not just random trends. We focus on recovery, hydration, and long-term habits that keep you strong without the need for fad diets.
