Fitness isn't about expensive supplements or skipping your favourite meals. It's about knowing the truth so you can stop chasing quick fixes and actually start building the body you want.

Myth: More supplements equal faster results. The truth is, overusing whey or pre-workouts can harm your kidneys and hormonal balance. Your discipline gives you results, not a scoop from a jar.

Myth: Fasted workouts burn more fat. While you might burn more fat during the session, overall fat loss comes from a calorie deficit over time. If you feel weak and tired after, you're burning energy, not fat. Fuel your body first.

Myth: Lifting weights will make women bulky. This is one of the biggest fears I hear. The truth is, strength training gives you a toned body, stronger bones, and a boosted metabolism. You won't accidentally get bulky; it takes very specific training and nutrition.

Myth: You need detox juices or teas to cleanse your body. Your liver and kidneys are your natural cleansers. Many "detox" products are just designed to cleanse your wallet. Drink water, sleep well, and eat real food. That's the only detox you need.

Myth: Cheat meals will ruin your progress. The truth is, one cheat meal won't make you fat, just like one salad won't make you fit. I had a client who ate pizza once a week and still lost 8 kgs. It's all about balance.

Myth: AI workout apps will replace real trainers. An app can show you a workout, but can it correct your posture, provide emotional support, or keep you accountable when you feel low? That human connection is the difference.

Myth: You must skip rice, ghee, and traditional Indian food to lose weight. Your nani's thali isn't the enemy. Indian meals like dal-chawal are perfectly healthy when portioned right. It's the portion and timing that matter.

About Busting Fitness & Nutrition Myths

Most people come to me convinced they need to quit rice to lose weight or buy expensive detox teas to clean their system. These aren't just myths, they are roadblocks to your progress. I have helped countless clients lose weight while enjoying dal-chawal because we fix portion sizes and timing, not the ingredients on your plate.
