About The Beautiful Beginning
Whether it’s a paint-splashed gender reveal or a quiet studio portrait, my focus is always on your comfort. I don’t believe in stiff posing; instead, I guide you with prompts so you can focus on the bond with your partner and little one, resulting in photos that feel like you.

Pregnancy is such a fleeting, magical season. My goal with 'The Beautiful Beginning' is to strip away the noise so we can focus on the connection between you, your partner, and the life you're bringing into the world.
Where and How We Shoot
I work primarily out of my studio in Lower Parel, where we can control the light and mood perfectly. We can keep it minimalist and clean, or we can get a bit dramatic with classic black and white portraits—which, honestly, are my absolute favourite for maternity shoots because they reveal such raw emotion. If you prefer the outdoors, I also love heading to parks around Mumbai to use that golden hour light, capturing those natural, sun-drenched moments.
The Process
- Pre-Session Chat: We’ll talk about your vision. Want a messy, fun gender reveal with balloons or paint? Or a quiet, intimate maternity session? We’ll plan it together.
- The Session: Don't worry about being 'camera-ready.' I’m there to guide you. If you have older kids or pets (yes, I love including your furry family members!), bring them along. They add so much life to the photos.
- The Edit: You’ll get a gallery of beautifully edited images. If you want something tangible, I offer high-quality coffee table books—they are such a lovely way to keep these memories alive for years to come. 🖤
