About Tiny Toes & Gummy Smiles
The 6-to-8-month sitter stage is my absolute favorite window for photography. They are finally stable enough to sit up without support and have that irresistible baby fat, but they aren't crawling away just yet. It is the perfect, fleeting moment to capture their distinct personality and that gummy smile before they are off running.
Whether you are looking to document your newborn's first few weeks or celebrating the milestones of the sitter stage, my approach remains the same: gentle, patient, and entirely focused on your baby.
The Newborn Phase
Newborn sessions are all about safety and comfort. I keep the studio atmosphere calm and warm, focusing on natural light and those tiny, curled-up poses that change so quickly. We capture the quiet details—the eyelashes, the tiny toes, and the bond with parents—without any rushing or stress. You don't need to worry about your baby being fussy; I plan the session to move at their pace.
The Sitter Stage (6-8 Months)
This is where the personality really starts to shine. By this age, babies are interactive. They are curious about props, they mimic smiles, and they have so much character. In my Lower Parel studio, I use a range of simple, timeless setups, from vintage cane baskets to clean, high-key backgrounds that keep the focus on your child.

Everything is prepped before you arrive—outfits, accessories, and setups—so you can walk in and simply enjoy the experience. We take the time needed to ensure everyone feels relaxed, because that is how we get the real smiles, not the forced ones.
