In this project, we chose to preserve and feature a magnificent natural rock outcropping, designing the community road to curve around it. This demonstrates our core belief in integrating the built environment with the existing landscape, making nature the centerpiece.
About this collection
At our BTM Meadows project, we encountered a large rock outcropping that most developers would have leveled. Instead, we designed the community road to curve around this feature, preserving it as a natural landmark. This decision wasn't just about aesthetics; it saved on excavation costs and gave the neighborhood a unique character that flat, cookie-cutter layouts simply cannot replicate. When you work with us, we look for these opportunities to use the existing terrain to your advantage.
Our approach to master planning extends far beyond drawing boundary lines. We believe a residential community should feel like it evolved naturally from its site. This philosophy begins with a comprehensive site analysis where we study sun paths, wind direction, and existing vegetation to inform the placement of roads, sidewalks, and open spaces.
Infrastructure with Integrity
We prioritize functional efficiency as much as the visual experience. Our technical layouts include detailed cross-sections for roads, precise camber levels for drainage, and utility integration plans that ensure longevity. We design streetscapes to be human-centric, incorporating dedicated bicycle lanes, permeable paving for better water management, and wide, tree-lined walkways that encourage residents to step out of their homes.
Green Building Principles
Inspired by the design language of Geoffrey Bawa, we advocate for soft infrastructure. We integrate native plant species to create green corridors that lower ambient temperatures and manage stormwater runoff naturally. Whether you are developing a large plotted community or a smaller residential enclave, our documentation is thorough. We provide everything from zoning approvals and civil layouts to entrance architecture and utility layouts, ensuring our vision remains accurate from the first hand-sketch to the final construction drawings on site.
