About From Sketch to Portfolio
We do not just teach you how to draw pretty pictures. We show you how to take a rough sketch and actually turn it into a marketable design. You will spend as much time on fabric science and cost analysis as you do on illustration, because a great design doesn't mean anything if you cannot produce it profitably. This is about building a business, not just a sketchbook.
Our 3-month Fashion Entrepreneurship Program is designed for those who want to move past the basics and start their own label. We operate out of a 3000 sq ft boutique in Indiranagar, which means you aren't learning in a sterile classroom—you are observing a functioning business every single day.
The 3-Month Roadmap
Month 1 & 2: Design & Fabric Science We start with the fundamentals: necklines, sleeves, and flat sketches. You will learn to render textures and build mood boards that clearly communicate your style. Beyond drawing, we do a deep dive into fabric science. You will learn to identify pure versus synthetic Zari, understand power loom versus handloom, and join us on market sourcing trips where we teach you to negotiate and check quality in real-time.
Month 3: Business & Portfolio This is where the mentorship really kicks in. We shift focus to the business side: SWOT analysis, pricing strategies, and the mindset required to survive and grow. You will compile your work into a professional portfolio that demonstrates not just your skill, but your viability as a designer.
