About Meet Your Mentor
This is not a theory-heavy classroom. In my 3-month mentorship, we spend time in actual fabric markets learning to source, not just sketching on paper. You will learn to handle textiles like silk and zari, understand pricing strategies from my own studio's profit sheets, and start your journey with a kit that helps you build a professional portfolio immediately.
Most design courses stop at pencil sketches. My academy is different because it is housed inside my functioning 3000 sq ft boutique in Indiranagar. You see the chaos, the client consultations, and the production timelines as they happen.
What we cover:
- Fabric Science: We move beyond theory. You will learn to identify weaves, distinguish pure versus synthetic zari, and understand fabric properties through hands-on market trips.
- Business Mentality: Creativity is useless without a sustainable model. I teach you how to perform a SWOT analysis of your brand, set pricing strategies, and manage a studio based on my own real-world experience.
- Creative Flow: We start sessions with sound healing to clear mental blocks—creativity is as much about your mindset as it is about your technical skill.
- Portfolio Development: You don't just finish with a certificate. You leave with a professional lookbook, mood boards, and a clear vision for your brand.
