Every home has a story, and I believe your entrance should tell it. From traditional Jharokha designs to textured 3D murals, let’s create something that reflects your family and style.

A detailed look at the making of a Jharokha nameplate for a family of three. I use durable MDF, shape the clay details by hand, and paint each element to create a one-of-a-kind entrance piece for your home.

This Radha-Krishna themed mural is a beautiful example of my 3D relief work. The design features detailed clay textures, a hand-painted lotus base, and a central murti, creating a piece filled with devotion and artistry.

About this collection

When I build these Jharokha nameplates or relief murals, I use high-density MDF for the base and shape the clay details entirely by hand. I finish each piece with a protective, high-gloss varnish, which means they stand up well even in semi-outdoor spaces like your apartment entrance or a covered porch.

Every mural and nameplate I create starts with a blank piece of high-density MDF. I use epoxy clay to build up the intricate relief work, sketching out architectural details or floral vines before adding any paint. Since I hand-mould every element, no two pieces are identical.

Materials and Finish

I use high-pigment acrylics for all the coloring. Once the painting is complete, I apply multiple layers of polyurethane varnish. This top coat is vital for preventing moisture absorption and protecting the colours against dust and sunlight. Whether you want a traditional Radha-Krishna mural or a modern Jharokha nameplate, the finish is designed to last.

Ordering and Customization

  • Where can I hang these? The weather-sealed finish makes them suitable for indoor walls or semi-outdoor areas like covered balconies and entryways.
  • Can you do specific names? Absolutely. I hand-letter all family names, so we can adjust the font and placement to fit your specific door or wall space.
  • How does the process work? We chat about your theme, the size you need, and the colours that match your decor. I then get to work, and we can discuss any specific motifs you want to include, making the final piece truly yours.
