Personalized Nameplates and Hand-Painted Storyboards

Your home entrance deserves a story. Whether it is a traditional Lippan design for your main door or a playful chalkboard to celebrate a milestone, I create custom pieces that turn a simple surface into a personal memory.

This adorable backlit nameplate was custom-made for a little girl's room, featuring a cute caricature and her name, Samaira.

A fun and colourful family nameplate that reads "Welcome to Our Happy Place," with individual hanging tags for each family member's name.

This nameplate is a fusion of my favorite techniques: a rich green background, elegant acrylic names, and a border featuring traditional Lippan-style textures and mirrors.

A special gift for my parents. This nameplate combines Lippan art techniques with their names, creating a personal and traditional piece for their home.

Celebrating a first birthday with a custom-designed chalkboard. It highlights all of the baby's milestones, favorite things, and cute nicknames.

From a blank board to a beautiful memory. This custom-painted sign was created to celebrate a couple's 10th anniversary, perfect for event decor.

About this collection

Every nameplate I create starts on a 12mm thick MDF or pine wood base, which I then seal with a double coat of varnish to handle the dust and humidity of a typical Indian entryway. When you share your vision, whether it is a specific family caricature, traditional Lippan mud-work, or an LED-lit design, I sketch the layout before finalizing the details so you know exactly what is arriving at your doorstep.

Art should not be about mass production. My approach to personalized nameplates and storyboards is collaborative and hands-on, ensuring that what hangs outside your door or inside your living room reflects your personality.

Why Custom Matters

I work with various techniques to bring your ideas to life. If you love the ethnic look, my Lippan art nameplates use traditional mirror work and clay relief on durable wood bases. If you want something modern for a kid's room or a contemporary home entrance, I use laser-cut wooden names for a 3D pop-out effect, often paired with playful character illustrations.

Practical Details

  • Durability: I use 12mm MDF or Pine wood for a sturdy foundation. Every piece receives a high-gloss or matte varnish to ensure it withstands the elements.
  • Lighting: For those who want their entrance to glow, I integrate warm white LED strips with a 12V adapter.
  • Versatility: I don't just do nameplates. My hand-painted storyboards for anniversaries, birthdays, or baby arrivals are custom-designed with chalkboard paint and acrylics to capture your specific milestones.

How We Start

We do not need a perfect brief. If you only have a rough feeling or a vague theme, reach out. We will sketch out the concept together. From selecting the color palette to deciding if you want a rustic jute rope or heavy-duty hooks for mounting, I handle the technical side so you get a finished, ready-to-hang piece of art. Vishwas nahi ho raha na? Let us start with a simple idea and see where it goes.
