About this collection
I create these using a combination of hand-painted wooden bases and raised 3D acrylic lettering. Because I seal each piece with professional-grade varnish, they remain dust-resistant and durable, whether you are hanging them on an apartment main door or inside a playroom.
How I Make Your Nameplate
I believe your home decor should tell a story. When you order a custom nameplate, I start with a 10 to 12 inch circular base, typically using high-density MDF or Pinewood. Unlike printed plastic signs, everything here is done by hand. I sketch the theme, apply multiple layers of acrylic or gouache, and then mount the 3D acrylic names to add depth and texture.
Designing Your Perfect Sign
We start by picking a theme that actually fits your life.
- For Kids Rooms: I love doing vibrant galaxy themes, unicorns, or car-racing designs. These are usually bright, cheerful, and meant to be hung right at eye level for them.
- For Main Entrances: We can go with something more timeless. Think deep wood stains, minimalist floral wreaths, or elegant script.
The Process
If you have a specific color palette in mind or want to match the nameplate to your home interior, just let me know. Because I do this from scratch, we can tweak the details until it feels just right. Please remember that because these are handmade, they take a little bit of time to cure and dry properly. I ensure every piece is sealed for moisture resistance so it holds up well in Bangalore's climate.
