Indian Heritage & Hand-Painted Sneaker Art

Bringing the opulence of Indian motifs and traditional handcraft to your favorite sneakers. Let’s turn your kicks into wearable heritage.

I call this design "Pies Adornados," which is Spanish for "Ornamented Feet." Inspired by an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla outfit, I painted these golden Nike AF1 mids with intricate Indian patterns for a truly luxurious feel.

About this collection

Painting intricate Indian motifs on leather isn't just about the colors. It’s about respecting the geometry of the patterns. When I work on Chintz designs or architecture-inspired motifs, I spend time mapping the curves of the sneaker to ensure the flow remains organic. Because I use durable leather paints, these designs are flexible and won't crack, meaning you can actually wear your heritage out on the street.

Turning Tradition into Streetwear

When I take on a heritage project, whether it's a Chintz-inspired floral layout or the sharp, geometric precision of a Mandala, I treat the sneaker as a blank canvas waiting for a story. Unlike mass-produced prints, hand-painting allows me to adjust the scale of the motif to fit the specific silhouette of your shoe, be it a Nike Air Force 1 or a Jordan.

I start with the base, ensuring the surface is prepped correctly to accept the leather paints. For these intricate designs, I rely on my finest 00 brushes, building up layers so the colors remain vibrant even on dark or metallic bases. It’s a slow process, usually taking 2 to 3 weeks to ensure the paint cures properly and the protective finish is completely durable.

Are They Wearable?

People often ask if these designs are actually meant for daily use. The answer is yes. By using flexible additives in my paint mix and applying industrial-grade sealants, I ensure the art moves with the leather. You won’t see cracking or chipping, even where the shoe creases. If you have a specific Indian textile or architectural pattern in mind, like something you saw at a wedding or in a historic city, let's chat. I love translating those visual memories into something you can rock every day.
