Bold Custom Sneakers: Hand-Painted Bling & Patterns

For when you want to be extra. These custom Nike Air Force 1s feature a black and red ombre glitter design that is guaranteed to turn heads. I even added rhinestone shoelaces for maximum sparkle.
It's dripping neons. I love playing with this melting paint effect, and the bright neon green, yellow, and red colors on these Nike Air Force 1s create a super fun and vibrant look.
This freehand design on a pair of Nike Air Force 1s features a dreamy, abstract aesthetic with a pastel color palette, cloud-like shapes, and a row of cute cacti.
A touch of gold. This is my original take on Nike's "Dragon of the Year" theme. I used a satin gold base and fine glitter to create the dragon, giving these AF1 mids a luxurious and textured look.
These Rare Rabbit sneakers were the perfect canvas for a Christmas-themed design. I painted a festive green initial "R" and added some colorful crystals to the side for a bit of holiday bling.

Iced out Forces. For this project, I customized two pairs of Nike Air Force 1s for a client by carefully applying sparkling crystals all over the swoosh, and adding a special date.

You might worry about glitter falling off or rhinestones popping, but that’s where the technique matters. I use industrial-grade finishers and specific bonding agents to lock everything in. Whether you want a full-on neon drip or subtle gold leafing, I ensure the finish is waterproof, chip-proof, and actually wearable for daily use.
If you’re here, you’re clearly not looking for basic. Whether you want to recreate a high-fashion look with monogram patterns or go wild with neon drips and ombre glitter, I’m all for it.
The process starts with your ideas. You don’t need a perfect sketch—just a vibe. Maybe you saw a specific pattern online, or you have a crazy color combo in your head. We’ll mock that up digitally first so you know exactly what you’re getting before I touch the leather.
When it comes to materials, I don't cut corners. I use Angelus leather paints because they flex with the shoe instead of cracking. For the 'bling' side of things—glitter, crystals, metallic accents—I use specialized adhesives that keep the sparkle stuck where it belongs. I’ve done everything from delicate floral hand-painting to full-shoe ombre glitter, and the goal is always the same: your shoes should look just as good after a month of walking as they do when you pull them out of the box.
Since these are custom projects, I ask that you ship your new shoes to my Mumbai studio. Once they arrive, I strip the factory finish, paint them, and apply the final seal. It’s a 2 to 3-week process, but that time is necessary for the curing, which is what makes these wearable art rather than just display pieces.
