About Custom Kicks: Wearable Art
Honestly, the secret isn't just the paint. It’s the prep. I strip every factory finish off your sneakers using acetone before a single drop of paint touches the leather. This keeps the art from cracking when you walk, ensuring your custom design stays fresh even if you wear them every day.
When you send me your shoes, we aren't just adding color. We are creating a piece of art you can actually wear. Whether you want a detailed portrait of your favorite athlete or a clean anime-inspired design, I use professional-grade Angelus leather paints specifically formulated for flexibility and durability.
My Process
I treat every commission differently. For simple color-blocking or patterns, we keep it light. For character portraits—like Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen or your favorite footballer—I switch to my 000-size detailing brushes to get the lines and shading right on those tricky curved surfaces.
Durability
Once the painting is done, I apply a scratch-resistant, water-proof sealer. While the toe box will naturally crease over time, the paint itself is designed to move with the leather, not against it. My goal is to ensure your sneakers look as good in six months as they do the day you unbox them.
Shipping
