I always get a little nervous when a client has a ton of different elements they want to include. This video talks about my process for making it all work together in a clean design.

About Your Story, Your Kicks (Personalized & Doodle Art)
Painting a personalized doodle pair is all about balancing your story with the shoe's flow. I use pro-grade Angelus paints and Liquid Kicks sealants so your doodles don't just look cool, they survive daily wear, rain, and scuffs. It is not just about drawing icons; it is about mapping your life, hobby by hobby, onto the leather.
Whether it is a monochrome tech-glyph design or a vibrant collage of your travel memories, these pairs are 1-of-1. I have painted everything from a singer’s gaming setup to a beach wedding landscape, making sure the design fits your aesthetic perfectly.
The Process
Getting your pair is simple. We start by chatting about your ideas. You do not need to have a final layout in mind. I take your stories, like your favorite food, a specific travel destination, or your pet's name, and I sketch out how they fit on the sneaker panels. Once you approve the mock-up, I begin the meticulous work of hand-painting each element.
Why Doodle Art?
Doodle art allows for layers of meaning. You can pack a lot of personality into a single shoe without it looking cluttered. I often use fine-point brushes to ensure the lines stay crisp, especially on high-traffic areas like the toe box or swoosh. This style works exceptionally well on clean canvases like white Air Force 1s or Stan Smiths, letting the black ink really pop.
Care and Durability
Since these are wearable art, I prioritize longevity. I deglaze the factory finish first to ensure paint adhesion, then apply multiple thin layers for durability. After the painting is done, I seal the leather with a scratch-resistant top coat. This makes your custom Nike Air Force 1s or other sneakers safe for everyday use.
