Capturing those tiny yawns and sleepy smiles. My Chembur studio is all set to keep your newborn cozy while we create these first, precious memories together.

A close-up of pure serenity. I focus on capturing the peaceful expressions of a sleeping newborn, highlighting the delicate features that you'll want to remember forever. This is a classic pose from my newborn portrait sessions.

Hello world! This newborn is resting peacefully in a boho-themed setup, complete with natural textures and earthy tones. My studio is filled with unique props to create a dreamy, serene atmosphere for your baby's first photoshoot.

Caught in a sleepy yawn, this is the definition of newborn bliss. I capture these candid, fleeting moments during my sessions, preserving the authentic sweetness of your baby's first few weeks.

Tiny hands held in the loving grasp of mom and dad. This pose is a beautiful way to show the scale of how small your newborn is and the powerful bond that has just begun. It's a must-have shot in my newborn family sessions.

Every detail is precious, especially those tiny feet. I make sure to capture these close-up shots, creating timeless images that celebrate how little your baby once was.

A little ray of sunshine wrapped in bright yellow. This newborn session features a pop of color with sunflowers, creating a cheerful and warm portrait on a miniature bed prop.

Swinging into the world with the cutest expression. This setup with a miniature swing, soft greenery, and a cuddly bunny friend is one of my favorites for capturing awake and curious newborns.

After a relaxing spa day, perhaps? This playful setup with a tiny bathrobe and towel wrap always brings out the smiles. It's a fun and creative way to capture your baby's personality during a sitter session.

Dreaming among the clouds and stars. This whimsical setup with a tiny bed, fluffy clouds, and golden stars creates a magical, celestial scene for a sleeping newborn.

A sleepy little elf nestled in a macrame swing. This 25-day-old newborn is perfectly posed in an earthy, green-themed setup, showcasing how I use natural elements to create beautiful, organic portraits.

About The First Few Days: Posed Newborn Portraits

These sessions are best booked when your baby is under 25 days old. It gives us the time we need to soothe, feed, and settle them into those peaceful poses without any rush. My studio in Chembur is climate-controlled and packed with soft wraps and props, so you do not need to bring anything except your little one.

When it comes to newborn photography, timing is everything. Those first 25 days are when babies are sleepiest and easiest to pose in those curled-up, womb-like positions. Once they start stretching out and becoming more alert, they usually prefer to stay awake, which is why I recommend scheduling the shoot early.

My studio is designed as a calm bubble. I handle the props, the styling, and the heating to keep your baby comfortable. Whether it is a beanbag pose or a sweet setup in a wooden crate, I take my time. If your little one gets fussy, we pause. We feed, we cuddle, and we soothe until they are relaxed again. I often find myself saying, 'Dekh idhar dekh' (look here) even with the newborns, just in case they decide to flash a quick, gummy smile.

I provide all the outfits, wraps, and bonnets, but I always encourage parents to bring a few personal items if they have them. Maybe a special blanket from the hospital or a knitted gift from a grandparent. These small details add a layer of love to the final photos. The goal is to capture the tiny fingers, the flaky skin, and that peaceful stillness before the chaos of toddlerhood begins.
