About Newborn Portraits (The First Few Days)
We know the first few weeks are a whirlwind, which is why we dedicate 3 to 4 hours to every newborn session. This isn’t a rush-to-the-finish-line shoot. We build in plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and diaper changes, ensuring your little one stays in that deep, peaceful sleep required for those iconic, dreamy poses.
Our Girgaon studio is built for comfort, not just speed. Because we operate as a two-person team, one of us is always dedicated to spotting or holding your baby, ensuring complete safety while the other manages the camera angles. Whether you want a minimalist look with soft wraps or something more personal like our 'Chotishi Rakhumai' or Harry Potter themes, we handle all the props and styling.
We have a 'Sugar Closet' stocked with premium mohair wraps, bonnets, and headbands, so you don't need to bring a thing for the baby. We prioritize a temperature-controlled environment with white noise to keep the vibe serene. After the session, our work continues with careful editing. We handle skin retouching to smooth out typical newborn issues like jaundice or acne and use composite editing to safely remove any supporting hands from the final images. You will receive 15 high-resolution, retouched digital files, along with 3 archival matte prints to keep as a physical memory. Booking while you are still expecting is best to secure your preferred dates within that golden 5-to-15-day window.
