About Learning Parkour Basics
We keep our batches small, with a maximum of 12 students, so your child gets dedicated spotting from our coaches for every jump. We don't just teach the move; we focus on proper technique on our professional-grade crash mats, ensuring that every roll, vault, or wall run is practiced safely before they try it solo.
Parkour is about more than just moving fast. It is about coordination, spatial awareness, and problem-solving. At Reflexx Studio, we introduce kids to the fundamentals through a structured progression that makes learning fun rather than intimidating.
How We Break It Down
- Safety First: We use high-density EVA foam mats and padded vaulting boxes. This provides a soft landing, reducing the fear factor and allowing kids to focus on their form.
- The Syllabus: We start with the basics—rolls, cartwheels, and simple precision jumps. Once they are comfortable, we move to vaulting techniques like the Kong vault and wall runs.
- Confidence Boost: Every child progresses at their own pace. Whether it is their first successful landing or a tricky obstacle navigation, we celebrate every 'level up.'

Beyond the flips and jumps, parkour builds grit. When a child learns to navigate an obstacle, they learn to navigate challenges in real life.
