At Rangsutra, we believe every thread carries a story of dignity. Explore our journey as a B Corp certified collective dedicated to fair wages, traditional techniques, and sustainable futures for our 2,000+ makers.

Our purpose is to be a bridge between rural Indian artisans and the global market. We are in the business of ethically manufacturing environment-friendly, quality handmade craft textiles.

Rangsutra is an artisan-owned company. The artisans are not only the backbone of our organization but also our shareholders, giving them a stake in our collective success.

We are a Public Limited Company, and our artisans were among our first shareholders when we started 18 years ago. Their ownership is central to our mission.

Today, more than 2,000 artisans are our primary shareholders. Our main business objective is to add wealth and value to them.

We follow fair trade practices by providing equal and fair wages to all our artisans. We believe in producing ethically crafted products that honor the skill and time invested.

Handcrafts take time, and we believe they deserve fair pay too. We pay our artisans a wage that reflects the quality of their work and the importance of their craft.

We ensure fair wages, often higher than market rates. This supports financial independence, dignity, and long-term economic upliftment for our artisan communities.

Fair wages, fair chances, fair futures. At Rangsutra, fair trade isn’t just a label, it’s how we work and how we live. Our artisans are co-owners, leaders, and changemakers.

We are proud to be a B Corp certified brand. This certification reflects our commitment to meeting high standards of social and environmental responsibility in everything we do.

As a B Corp, we commit to doing business in a way that benefits not just shareholders, but also workers, communities, and the planet.

About Our Commitment: Ethical & Sustainable Practices

When you choose our work, you are supporting a closed-loop system where solar-powered production meets fair trade wages. Unlike mass manufacturing, our B Corp certification means that every rupee you spend directly supports the 2,000+ rural makers who own a stake in our company, ensuring they remain shareholders in the growth of their own traditional crafts.
