About Grand Concerts & Festivals
When I take the stage for a festival, I make it a point to break the wall between the artist and the crowd. My band and I, a 7 to 8 piece electric setup including a dedicated dhol player, thrive on that shared energy. We do not just perform songs; we build a connection that turns thousands of voices into one choir, whether at a college fest or a city-wide celebration.
My concert performances are built on the 'Andaaz-e-Raman' signature, which balances the soul of Sufi music with the raw, high-tempo power of Bollywood and Punjabi beats. For large-scale events, I perform with a full electric ensemble—drums, bass, keys, guitars, and flute—ensuring the sound is full, crisp, and capable of filling large venues.
What Goes into a Concert Show
Performing at festivals or fests requires more than just instruments. We bring the full production energy, including on-stage Jugalbandi between the drums and dhol. My goal is to make sure that even the person in the very last row feels part of the performance. I often walk into the crowd, interact directly with the audience, and let the listeners drive the energy.
Technical and Logistics
Because these are high-intensity shows, I require a professional sound and light setup. We operate on a specific technical rider—including line arrays, monitor systems, and cordless mics—to ensure the mix is perfect for open grounds or stadium venues. If you are planning a festival or a major university event, we need the stage to be ready for an 8-piece band, plus room for the tech team to manage the live sound engineering. This ensures that every beat, every ghazal, and every high-voltage Punjabi track sounds exactly as it should.
