About Artist Portfolio & Style
Music isn't just about what you hear, it is about what you see. For a Sufi mehfil, I choose traditional sherwanis that ground the performance in classic roots, while my high-energy sets get a modern, fusion look. My clothing reflects the genre, so when I step on stage, the vibe is ready from the first note.
My philosophy, 'Andaaz-e-Raman', is about total immersion. When we plan a performance, we look at the venue, the occasion, and the crowd. It is never just about standing at a mic; it is about looking the part.
The Sufi Mehfil Look
For intimate gatherings or corporate events where the mood is set to soulful, I opt for traditional attire like sherwanis or classic kurtas with intricate detailing. These outfits help create the serene, 'ibaadat' (prayer) atmosphere that defines my Sufi and Ghazal sessions. The goal is for the audience to feel the weight of the poetry before I even start singing.
The Concert & Sangeet Vibe
When the event demands energy—a Sangeet night or a college fest—my style shifts. We move toward sharp, modern fusion wear. You will often see me in textured jackets or contemporary ethnic-fusion suits that allow me to move, engage with the crowd, and bring that high-voltage Bollywood and Punjabi energy to the stage.
