About My Journey: From DID to Dance Guru
When I teach, we don't just learn steps; we 'manifest' them. I do not care if you think you have two left feet. My method is 'basic by basic,' breaking down every beat so you build real confidence before we ever record that final routine. You are not just joining a class; you are joining the R1 family where we sweat, mess up, and find our 'josh' together.
My path has never been about just the moves. It started with my roots in Odisha, led me to the stage of Dance India Dance, and now, it brings me to my studio in Bangalore.
More Than Just Steps
When you see me on stage or as a judge, you see the glamour. But in the studio, the work is raw. My training style focuses on high-energy fun, but we maintain discipline. Whether it is Bollywood, Hip-Hop, or Contemporary, the goal is always the same: to make you feel as happy as I do when I move.
The R1 Vibe
I built the R1 Dance and Yoga Studio to be a sanctuary. It is a space where the 'Bhasad Macha' energy is real. We use sprung floors to keep your knees safe while we push your flexibility and core strength. My classes are designed to be accessible for everyone, from absolute beginners taking their first step to those looking to master a trending routine.
Join the Journey
Every batch I teach is a new story. We work on choreography for 2-3 weeks, breakdown the hook steps, and wrap up with a professional video shoot. It is not about being a pro from day one; it is about showing up and believing in yourself.
