Welcome to my dream space in Yelahanka. I built this studio to be a home for your movement, passion, and peace.

A look at the journey of building my dream studio from the ground up. Every step, from the empty space to the finished floor, was a step towards creating this home for dancers.

The view from the outside looking in. Our studio is designed with large glass windows to be a bright, open, and inviting space for everyone who walks through the door.

Our welcome sign on opening day. This little chalkboard represents the start of a new chapter, ready to welcome our first students into the R1 family.

A moment from the puja ceremony during our grand opening. It was so important for me to begin this journey with blessings and positive energy, surrounded by family and friends.

A happy moment from our grand opening. The support I received from everyone on this day was overwhelming and filled me with so much gratitude.

Celebrating the official opening of the studio with a cake. This moment was the sweet culmination of a lot of hard work and the beginning of a beautiful new adventure.

Standing proud in our newly opened studio. The decorations and festive atmosphere marked the start of our journey to bring dance and yoga to the community.

A look at our second studio hall, a long, mirrored space perfect for focusing on technique and form. The natural light makes it a beautiful place to practice during the day.

This is our main dance hall, complete with professional flooring and lighting. I designed it to be a versatile space for everything from high-energy hip-hop to calm yoga sessions.

About Our Studio: The R1 Space

When I built R1 at the Padukone-Dravid Centre, my non-negotiable was the flooring. We installed a professional sprung dance floor because I know exactly how punishing hard surfaces are on your shins and knees during jumps or intense floor work. This space is designed so you can push your limits and focus on your rhythm without the constant fear of injury.
