About Competitive Speed Skating Training
Why I Coach
Skating isn’t just a hobby for me, it’s my life. I’ve skated for India, picked up international medals, and been national champion nine times. Now, I’m all about guiding the next set of champions from our country. Honestly, the fight in India isn’t easy - you deal with politics, pressure, and loads of hurdles. Just making it to the top is a win.
My Approach
I push for “innondu round” (one more round) every single time. No shortcuts. We train hard, like machines. It’s not some basic class - we go all in on high-intensity interval skating drills and roller skating strength training. You’ll sweat, you’ll struggle, but you’ll see results.
- We use parachute training for explosive starts.
- Slide boards help lock down your skating form and posture.
- I break down speed skating race tactics, race-day tips, and strategy so you’re not just fast but also smart.
The Journey
We take it step by step: district, state, nationals, and then international. My club skaters are used to winning - some have even bagged nine golds in nine events, and I’ve coached my own daughter to gold too. Whether you want to master inline skate power workouts or aim for short track skating technique, I’ve got the experience.
Real Talk
If you’ve got the fire, I’ll help you chase the dream. Not promising it’ll be easy, but it’ll be worth it. Let’s win, for India. Jai Hind!
