About Sacred Spaces: Temple & Pooja Room Decoration

In my sessions, we do not just use readymade items. You will personally learn how to knot heavy thomale garlands, weave traditional floral borders, and adjust setups for specific deity requirements like Varamahalakshmi or housewarming poojas. It is all about the 'live concept', meaning you work on actual site requirements during training so you gain the confidence to handle any request once you start your own work.

When you are decorating for a deity, every detail matters. In this course, I guide you through the process of selecting fresh flowers, understanding the right thread counts for garlands, and balancing floral density for temple entrances. We focus heavily on traditional flower knotting and weaving because this is what clients in Bengaluru truly value for their homes and community events.

My training is built around these pillars:

  • Traditional Artistry: You will master the 'Malli' knot and create long-lasting thomale garlands that do not droop or fade, even during long festival hours.
  • Site-Specific Design: Whether it is a small home pooja room or a large public temple festival, you learn how to measure space and calculate material needs correctly.
  • Handling Fresh Materials: You will work directly with marigold, chrysanthemum, and lotus stems, learning how to keep them fresh throughout the setup.

I believe the best teacher is the work itself. That is why our classroom is often the market or the live event site. You will learn to handle pressure and deadlines, which is the most important lesson for anyone wanting to build a career in event decor. After the course, I am always available to help you with rentals and advice if you get stuck on a project.
