About Pooja Room & Sacred Backdrops
I source fresh flowers on the morning of your event to ensure density and longevity, whether you need a simple door toran or a full-wall backdrop. My setup process involves measuring your specific shrine dimensions to ensure the floral frame fits securely without causing damage to your existing woodwork.
My approach to pooja room decor centers on traditional South Indian aesthetics, using materials that are culturally significant. I work with fresh banana leaves, jasmine (mallige), and marigold (banthi) to build custom backdrops that respect the sanctity of your prayer space.
Planning your decor
- Consultation: Send me photos of your pooja room or shrine area. I need to understand the dimensions and the current layout before suggesting a design.
- Materials: I use real banana leaf panels, lotus buds, and fresh flower garlands. No artificial foliage is used unless specifically requested.
- Festival specials: For festivals like Varamahalakshmi, I specialize in elaborate backdrops that feature heavy floral curtains and center-piece motifs like Ganesha or traditional floral rangoli.
- Installation: My team typically arrives 3 to 4 hours before the puja. We handle the full assembly and the cleanup, ensuring the stems and leaves are cleared away after the event.
Everything is customized to your needs. If you have a specific color scheme or a preference for certain flowers, let me know, and I will source them accordingly.
