Traditional Pooja and Sacred Ceremony Decor
I provide respectful and beautiful decor for religious milestones like Satyanarayana Pooja and housewarmings. From traditional banana leaf arrangements to divine flower backdrops, I bring a serene, authentic touch to your sacred home spaces.
This video shows the making of the grand namam flower wall for a housewarming pooja. It was an honor to create this divine backdrop for a wonderful and persistent client.
A closer look at the finished Satyanarayana Pooja backdrop. The sheer scale and detail of the flower namam is something I am very proud of.
A customized backdrop for a Varamahalakshmi pooja for one of my oldest clients. The goddess is framed by a halo of carnations, with a lush background of banana leaves and silver elephant props.
A premium backdrop for a Ganapathi festival. The idol is placed within a beautiful arch of baby's breath and white roses against a green wall, creating a fresh and elegant look.
A simple and elegant setup for a Ganesha idol during a wedding. The statue is placed on a pedestal with floral decorations, against a clean white backdrop.
This was a very special project: creating the Ambari Utsava for the Annemma Devi festival. The decorated elephant idols carrying the goddess create a powerful and divine procession.
For the first time in Bangalore, we created a Ganesha Ambari Utsava inspired by the grand Mysore Dasara. Seeing our Ganapathi on the Ambari was a truly magical moment.
About this collection
For our pooja setups, we prioritize flower freshness above all else. Whether it is a Ganapathi festival or a Varamahalakshmi pooja, we source fresh marigolds and jasmine daily so your space smells divine. If you have a specific idol or a sentimental family prop you want us to incorporate into the backdrop, just show us beforehand, and we will style it perfectly.
Whether it is your Gruha Pravesha (housewarming) or an intimate Satyanarayana Pooja, my goal is to create a setting that feels peaceful and authentic. I know these events are deeply personal, and a standard, flashy setup often does not fit the vibe of a prayer.
I focus on the details that actually matter:
- Freshness First: We use locally sourced marigolds, chrysanthemums, and mango leaves for all our fresh floral work. They bring that classic, auspicious scent into your home.
- Cultural Accuracy: From traditional Namam (Vishnu tilak) backdrops to brass Urulis and banana leaf accents, I ensure the symbolic elements are placed respectfully.
- Small Space Friendly: Many of you live in apartments, so I have mastered space-smart decor. We use frames that do not block walkways but still create a beautiful, concentrated area for your deity or photo frame.
I am always happy to work with elements you already own. If you have a specific brass lamp or a family heirloom you want as the centerpiece, let me know. I love integrating personal touches because it makes the ceremony truly yours. If you are planning a naming ceremony or a Varamahalakshmi pooja, we can discuss custom themes that respect the divinity of the occasion. Just tell me what you need, and we will figure out the best way to make your prayer room look festive and blessed.
Dream Decor
I am Darshan, and I started Dream Decor with a simple dream to help families celebrate their big moments. I love the traditional side of what we do. There is something so calming about fresh flower garlands and the scent of marigolds in a home.
