See exactly how we build a full event setup from scratch. We take you from the wholesale flower market to the final stage, teaching you the real work that goes into every decoration.

My course is A to Z. I take my students to the flower market to teach them how to select fresh materials and connect them with the right vendors. This practical knowledge is essential for running your own business.

A vendor at the market speaks about my work and how I bring my students for live learning. Building good relationships with suppliers is a key part of the business.

A visit to our flower vendor's shop. We source large quantities of fresh flowers for our events, and I teach my students how to manage this process.

Part of the decoration process involves preparing the props. Here, I am painting and adding finishing touches to the fiber pots used in our setups.

We also teach you about house lighting. Here you can see a house beautifully lit up for a wedding, which adds a magical touch to the overall decoration.

A behind-the-scenes look at me setting up a chappara with white flowers. It takes a lot of hard work and precision to get the perfect finish.

Hanging flower garlands for a window decoration. Even small spaces can be made beautiful with the right techniques.

A view of a house entrance chappara being set up. You can see the scale of the work and the team effort involved.

Modern metal stands used for floral arrangements. We teach you how to use various props, both traditional and modern, in your decorations.

About Behind the Scenes: The Complete A-Z Process

When I teach, we do not just talk theory. I take you directly to the wholesale flower market to negotiate with vendors and select fresh materials, so you learn how to calculate costs and manage supplies before you even touch a backdrop frame. You learn to handle the business side because that is where most people get stuck.

How We Build From Scratch

I believe you cannot learn decoration by looking at pictures. You have to get your hands dirty. In our training, we start at the root of the work—the market. You will join me during my real vendor visits, where I teach you how to pick the right marigolds, how to source bulk materials, and how to negotiate prices so your business stays profitable.

The Real Work

Once we have the supplies, the real work begins. We cover:

  • Structure and Fabrication: You will learn to assemble metal truss systems and backdrop frames that stand steady even when the wind picks up.
  • Traditional Arts: We go back to basics with coconut leaf weaving (chappara) and banana stem carving. These are skills many modern decorators have forgotten, but they make your work stand out.
  • Floral Techniques: You will learn to make garlands (thomale), create floral rangoli, and wire flowers for heavy-duty stage work.

After the Course

You do not just walk away with a certificate. My students get access to my equipment rentals for their own events. Starting out is tough, and having a support system to rent props and frames makes that first project much easier. We learn, we build, and we support each other as we grow in this industry.

I am Pulsar Sena. People kept asking how I get my decorations to look so good, so I started CM Institute to share everything I know. I am not here to lecture; I am here to show you how to do this work yourself, side-by-side on real event sites.
